It's been an action packed start to the Irish domestic campaign with the early inclement weather giving way to glorious sunshine in the second half of the month.

In the first of a monthly series, we take a look at both the clubs and players who have performed best during the calendar month and ask the readers to vote for the winners in the CricketEurope poll.

To ensure balance in the process, the games which count for statistical purposes only include Senior League, Senior Cup, Irish Senior Cup and National Cup.

Coleraine
The emergence of Coleraine in recent seasons from peripheral club to genuine title contenders has been one of the region's success stories. The club sits joint top of NW senior one with 4 wins from five games. The club also enjoyed thumping wins against Killyclooney and Lurgan in the cup competitions.

Donemana
The Tyrone side has won all four of their league games to jointly top NW Senior One. In addition they have progressed in both the Senior Cup and Irish Cup with wins over Eglinton and Pembroke respectively.

Leinster
The Rathmines side, newly promoted to top flight cricket, have taken the division by storm winning all four of their league games. They suffered an early exit from the Leinster Cup last weekend, but did progress in the first round of the Irish cup with a win against Lisburn.

North Down
The Comber club have won both their league games in a truncated start to the season in the NCU, and have also won resounding wins against Ballymena and Fox Lodge in the cups.

The Hills
The North Dublin club have been in prolific form in Leinster, racing untroubled to the summit of Senior One with four consecutive wins. In addition they have recorded wins in both cup competitions against Bready and Terenure.

Pembroke
Although the Sydney Parade club were one of only two Leinster casualties in the Irish Senior Cup, they have been unstoppable as they sit top of Leinster Senior Two with four wins. They also enjoyed an emphatic win against Rush in the Senior Cup.

Waringstown
The Irish and Challenge cup holders show no signs of relinquishing their hold on either having made a strong start in all competitions. They overcame a strong Strabane side and eased past Carrickfergus. In the Premier league they sit top of the table with three wins out of three.
