A series of ‘Kwik Cricket’ festivals for local Natioal Schools will take place over the coming weeks. The festivals will cater for many of the new schools introduced to cricket over the past 12 months. The festivals will cater for boys and girls currently in 4th class.

The recent spell of fine weather along with the inclusion of several new schools, many from non-traditional cricket areas, has seen increased activity within this year’s ‘Leprechaun Cup’. The competition (for Dublin Primary Schools) is now entering its third year and continues to grow in numbers with the standard of play also increasing notably each year.
A Week of Exciting Cricket Blitzes in Fingal

During the week of 24–30 of May, three cricket Blitzes were run in Malahide CC, Rush CC and Corduff Sport Centre. Over the three days we had more than 300 4th class pupils attending and playing cricket! The success of the tournaments is a great sign for the future of cricket in Fingal.
