These, the 4th European Championships, were hosted by the KNCB (Royal Dutch Cricket Association), with matches being staged in Deventer, Rotterdam and Utrecht. The tournament was part of the ongoing 2007 World Cup Qualifying Series - although Denmark, Holland, Ireland and Scotland had already qualified for the 2005 ICC Trophy in Ireland this tournament decided their rankings for that tournament.
