A global system of five regional T20 events (Europe, Africa, Americas, Asia and East Asia Pacific), with three countries qualifying from Asia, 1 from East Asia Pacific, and 2 from each of the other regions, leads into the ICC WT20 Qualifier to be played in 2012. Ireland, the Netherlands and Scotland have already qualified automatically.
The ICC European Division 3 Championship consists of hosts Slovenia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Sweden and Turkey playing each other in a Twenty20 round-robin league format. The winners of Division 3 will be promoted to take part with eleven other countries in the ICC European Division 2 Championship in Belgium from 20-25 June.
The
fifteen matches will be played at
two venues in Ljubljana and Velden, Austria.
