Hosts Denmark won both their matches on Thursday as the tournament ended with three friendly Twenty20 matches.

By beating the Isle of Man by six wickets, opener Fazan Ahmed leading the way with an unbeaten 85, hosts Denmark made sure of the Division 2 title on Wednesday.

A splendid partnership of 150 between Shenal Amarakoon and Saif Anik was the foundation for Italy's 47-run victory over the Isle of Man on Tuesday.

Denmark were too strong for Italy in the opening match of the tournament, Mads Henriksen making 48 as they won by six wickets.

While only three countries will be taking part in this year’s European Under-17 Division 2 tournament at the Svanholm ground in Copenhagen, it promises to be a keenly-contested competition.
