A Timeline of Norwegian Cricket

1960s Cricket begins to be played in Norway by Asian immigrants.
1972 The first cricket club is formed in Oslo.
2000 Norway becomes an affiliate member of the ICC.
The national team plays for the first time at the European Representative Championship in Austria, winning the tournament.
2003 After three years away from the international scene due to internal squabbling, Norway return with a win in the ECC Trophy.
2004 Norway finish fourth in Division 2 of the European Championship.
2005 Norway win the European Affiliates Championship.
2006 Norway win Division 2 of the European Championship in Scotland.
2008 Norway finish ninth in Division 5 of the World Cricket League.
Norway finish last in Division 1 of the European Championship.
