| History | He started off his playing career at the Arns home of Clackmannan County and was soon snapped up by Warwickshire who he has played for since 1991 and was awarded a benefit year by them in 2005. He was selected by England in 1997 and 1998 to play One Day Internationals and this precluded him for playing for Scotland again until 2004. In Sharjah in 1997 he bowled West Indies opener Philo Wallace with the first ball of the match and had Brian Lara lbw with the third as he helped England win the tournament. He missed the Inter Continental Cup final in 2004 through injury but came back in 2005 as a member of the winning ICC Trophy side. He has also represented Scotland at football playing at Under 18 level at Hampden Park. |
