History Came to Scotland as a professional player and now qualifies by residence. Has played as a club professional for Meigle, Falkland and Forfarshire. His prolific run-scoring has made him one of the most effective batsmen in Scotland.
Represented South Africa Schools in 1995, captained Transvaal Under 24 in 1996. A tidy bowler both at medium pace and with off-spin and a competitive fielder with excellent hands. Recorded the third fastest hundred in one-day cricket against Somerset in May 2003, 103* off 43 balls. His all-round skills and lively personality make him a key member of the squad.
Was a member of the squad that won the Intercontinental Cup in 2004 and the ICC Trophy in 2005, in which he won the Man of the Match Award in the final.
In the Scottish National Cricket League from 199 until 2005 he has scored 3,824 at an average of 49.66 and taken 172 wickets at an average of 21.45.
