| History | A Scotland youth International at Under 16 and Under 19 level. He has captained the side since 2002, and was the outstanding player of the Saltires first NCL season in 2003. A genuine all-rounder, he has played grade cricket in Australia as player/coach, winning back-to-back premiership titles. Works hard at his game and offers real maturity in his approach to all aspects of his game. He was Man of the Match against Worcestershire in a famous Nat West victory in 1998. He took a hat trick against Denmark in 2004. He led Scotland to victory in the 2004 Intercontinental Cup and the 2005 ICC Trophy and is the leading wicket taker in Scotland's history. In the Scottish National Cricket League (1998 to 2005) he has scored 1,504 runs at an average of 23.87 and taken 156 wickets at an average of 16.25 |
