Cricketing Career
Who had the greatest influence on your career?
Ralf Myton, Former RAF Umpires Chief instructor, he convinced me to take up umpiring.
What is your ultimate cricketing aspiration?
Umpiring a test match at Lords.
What is your most memorable cricketing moment?
Being nominated for the ICC Associates and Affiliates umpires panel
What was your worst cricketing moment?
Out for a first ball playing for the 1st XI vs the staff.
What is your funniest cricketing moment?
There have been too many!
Who is your best friend in European Cricket and why?
My dad, he was the reason I started in the first place.

Who is your favourite European cricketer (past and present), and why?
Bruce Auchinleck (Great German name), superb bowler who never really got his chance at international level.
Which is your favourite European cricket ground, and why?
RAF Brüggen, as was, I spent so many happy days on that field.
Who is the best young European cricketer you have seen in recent times?
Jakob Bumke, another German bowler who was never given the chance to show his potential.
Do you think bowlers should be restricted in domestic cricket?
Yes.
What are your main complaints about European cricket?
Not bowling the overs fast enough.
How would you set about improving the standard of European cricket?
Creating a European Super league for the top clubs to play against each other on a regular basis, and provide funding for it to happen.
How would you set about making European cricket more popular?
Provide funding, and get cricket into the media spotlight in mainland Europe.

Namibia - the hospitality was fantastic.

Ian Botham, when he stepped onto the field something was bound to happen.
