To play for Scotland in 2007 World Cup and beyond, playing a big part in Scotland establishing itself as an ODI nation.

What is your most memorable cricketing moment?
Being in the team huddle singing Flower of Scotland in the changing room after winning ICC Trophy in 2005.

John Blain - I first played with him in Scotland u19 team in 1995 and we have shared all the ups and downs of Scottish cricket over the last decade.

Who is your favourite Scottish cricketer (past and present), and why?
Paul Hoffmann - one of the most consistent bowlers in the world, loves whacking the ball out the ground and we share the same passion for food and sleep.

Which is your favourite Scottish cricket ground, and why?
Titwood - a great arena and generally a good cricket wicket.

Who is the best young Scottish cricketer you have seen in recent times?
Richard Berrington

What do you think of overseas professionals in Scottish club cricket?
Support them 100%. It raises the standard of club cricket and gives young players an insight into the level they need to reach to be successful for Scotland. Through coaching or simply setting an example in terms of preparation and commitment, pros also aid the development of youngsters.

Do you think bowlers should be restricted in domestic cricket?
Yes, as they are in all other forms of one day cricket. It also gives more opportunities for young bowlers to perform in match situations.

What are your main complaints about Scottish cricket?
Club cricket should start at 12 to prevent games finishing at 9pm.

How would you set about improving the standard of Scottish cricket?
Establish a 3 team district set up - west, east and academy - to play one day and two day cricket. This will bridge gap between club and national level and give all club players a level to aspire to. Increase level of coaching in schools and clubs to attract and retain most talented sportsman to cricket.

How would you set about making Scottish cricket more popular?
I think the processes are already in place - media coverage and marketing is improving and the number of youngsters playing is increasing. Further success for the national team will help this to continue.

Australia - good weather and wickets. Great attitude to training, club cricketers train and prepare as if they are professionals.

Matthew Hayden - the type of player I strive to be - a dominating opening batsman, leaves no stone unturned in his preparation and a great team man.

Mark Ramprakash - a great technician and fiercely passionate about the game
