Probably Dennis Brigden, who coached me when I was very young.

What is your ultimate cricketing aspiration?
Personal: To score an ODI hundred. Team: To beat a Full Member in an ODI.

What is your most memorable cricketing moment?
Qualifying for the 3 World Cups.

What was your worst cricketing moment?
To hear that members of my club, fathers of guys I am coaching, suddenly died. Twice happened during a game.

What is your funniest cricketing moment?
One guy once answered the coach on why he was so out of sorts while batting (this is on a trip to the UK): First of all, you arrive in the middle and you can't find the chalk … . And after cricket with Asim Khan and JJ Esmeijer.

Who is your best friend in Dutch Cricket and why?
I enjoy playing cricket with Luuk van Troost and Jeroen Smits.

Who is your favourite Dutch cricketer (past and present), and why?
Past: Roland Lefebvre, he always performed.
Present: Bas Zuiderent had an amazing ICC Trophy. Edgar Schiferli did well as a bowler there.

Which is your favourite Dutch cricket ground, and why?
Voorburg, have scored a few runs there …

Who is the best young Dutch cricketer you have seen in recent times?
Alexei Kervezee

What do you think of overseas professionals in Dutch club cricket?
So-so. Clubs get them in to perform for their clubs instead of coaching promising young cricketers.

Do you think bowlers should be restricted in domestic cricket?
Yes.

What are your main complaints about Dutch cricket?
The clubs have too much power.

How would you set about improving the standard of Dutch cricket?
Fewer games in the Hoofdklasse. More quality games for the guys that really want top play.

How would you set about making Dutch cricket more popular?
Through schools and getting on TV regularly.

Any, when they play to win.

Which overseas countries have you played cricket in?
New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Africa, Namibia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Bermuda, Canada, Barbados, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, and England of course.

Which was your favourite, and why?
Anywhere the grounds are good and the weather warm.

Who is your favourite world cricketer, and why?
Currently Andrew Flintoff, great player and plays the game hard but fair.
