I am very positive towards having overseas professionals in the Danish league as long as they accept working with the juniors at their club as well as with talents from the national youth sides. I believe it is important that they set up school clinics at nearby school, perform regional holiday clinics in order to recruit and maintain the local youngsters’ interest in cricket. I hope that our cricket board in the future will see to that no overseas professional is allowed to play in the Danish league unless they fulfil these demands.

How would you set about improving the standard of Danish cricket?
Many aspects can help raise the standard of Danish Cricket, I have tried to list 8 very important changes which needs to be done from both a development and an elite perspective.
Development perspective:
- DC have to ensure that regional U9 and U11 tournaments are held every 3 weeks and the number of youngsters are doubled through a new school and child care development programme.
- DC have to educate the teachers in Schools and child cares on how to conduct a 5 week cricket development programme. A DVD will be made with instructional video shots on how to play the different games.
- DC have to set up annual tournaments for schools and child cares near all cricket clubs.
- DC have to make sure that regional holiday clinics are performed for U9, U11, U13 and U15 every holiday.
- DC will have to educate many local coaches in how to attract and maintain school and child care kids into cricket through modified games with higher participation.
- I believe that our National side should take part in the English second xl or minor county competition at least every two weeks during the season both in the 4 day and 1 day competition.
- The club games should be allowed to be played on turf wickets and more turf wickets to be placed around Denmark.
- A regional competition to be introduced at all underage levels during the summer holiday. In a few years time this competition will fill the 6 week gap in July and can be introduced at senior level too.
