Who had the greatest influence on your career?
My Dad, Mom and brother. They have all supported me through out my short career and have always been there for me, even in the freezing cold!
What is your ultimate cricketing aspiration?
To become one of Scotland's best all-rounders and to go to the World Cup 2007.
What is your most memorable cricketing moment?
Making my debut against Durham on my birthday and getting figures of 7-1-17-2. I was a last minute selection as Asim Butt pulled out with a hamstring injury.
What was your worst cricketing moment?
One of the worst, was being run out in the 2005 Inter-Continental against Ireland in Aberdeen.
What is your funniest cricketing moment?
Standing at short fine leg and watching Justin Kemp hit Cedric English for 4 6's in one over at Kent
Who is your best friend in Scottish Cricket and why?
Fraser Watts - I've only properly known him for about 2 years now and the experience that we had in Australia, and now South Africa, helped us become good mates. I've learnt a lot from him about attitude and commitment, when it comes to cricket (but nothing when it comes to dress sense and fashion!)
Who is your favourite Scottish cricketer (past and present), and why?
Craig Wright, because he plays his cricket the same way I'd like to play mine, with confidence, consistency, intelligence and character.

Who is the best young Scottish cricketer you have seen in recent times?
Ross Lyons is a very promising left arm spinner.
What do you think of overseas professionals in Scottish club cricket?
I think that players can learn a great deal from some of them if they take the time to listen and hear what they have to say.
Do you think bowlers should be restricted in domestic cricket?
Yes
What are your main complaints about Scottish cricket?
Probably the main complaint would be the fact that the wickets we play on are not the best throughout the year. It's understandable that the weather is not the best either, but some of the grounds need to recieve slightly more attention when it comes to producing the best possible wicket for club games.
How would you set about improving the standard of Scottish cricket?
Keep introducing the game into the Schools and try and get kids away from PS2's etc and outside swinging a bat or bowling a ball.
How would you set about making Scottish cricket more popular?
Play against better, well known opposition and give them a good go for their money.
Which Test team, if any, do you support, and why?
Not really a supporter of any team other than Scotland at present. However, I do enjoy watching the “swash buckling” style of the West Indies.
Which overseas countries have you played cricket in?
South Africa, Australia, Holland, Ireland, UAE.
Which was your favourite, and why?
UAE (Dubai) - I loved seeing what Dubai was all about and really enjoyed my time there. It was very interesting to see how they are just a world apart from what I've been use to my whole life.
Who is your favourite world cricketer, and why?
Shaun Pollock - He's a good all-round cricketer and someone I'd like to model my game on.

Andrew Flintoff - Cause he's got 'ticker'!
