Althought two of the expected top three teams met at Svanhom Park, it turned out to be more of a one sided affair between Svanholm and Glostrup. Svanholm batted first and were bundled out for 123 with only Zishan Shah offerering any resistance with 51. Denmark's opening bowler Henrik Hansen taking 4 for 14. Glostrup had no problems passing Svanholm's total with Anders Rasmussen being very effective with 55. With this win Glostrup must be now the firm favorites to take the Championship.

Esbjerg who are destined to be the third top team were favorites against Husum before the game started and everthing seemed to be on course for a victory when Esbjerg posted 224 all out with Danish veteran Peer Jensen topscoring with 44. But the tables soon turned when Husum's Gerrit Müller was at the crease, as he pasted the Esbjerg bowlers to all parts of the ground at racehorse speed, well supported by former Skanderborg player Lars Hedegaard. Husum raced past Esbjerg's total after 35 overs with Gerrit 139 not out from 102 balls. It will be interesting to follow Husum if they can keep this momentum up.

Saturday's excitement was at Skanderborg who were facing Aalborg. These two teams met 14 days ago in the Cup where Alborg won a narrow victory. So another close match was in prospect. Skanderborg batted first and were all out in the 48th over for 196, thansk largely to Soren Kirk's 43 and Morten Kristensen's 27 who held the tail together. Aalborg's Peter Thorup showed the way by taking 5 wickets with his accurate swing bowling. Aalborg's reply was confident with their Australien David Nankervis in the center. But by not losing wickets Aalborg got behind the scoring rate, and when Nankervis was well caught for 78 Aalborg came off the rails. Before the final over Aalborg needed 7 to win with three wickets in hand but they still managed to lose 2 wickets without scoring. The final final wicket fell on the last ball still needing a 6 to tie.

In the first division KB second eleven played their first match and surprisngly beat Albertslund who in the last few seasons have been close to promotion. Ishoj relegated from the Elitedivision last year faced Koge in their first match winning by 33 runs thanks to a century by Quamar Uz-Zaman. On the Sunday KB played against Norrebro and this was an odd game. Norrebro batted first and posted 218 for nine where the extras ended up being the main scorer (46 of them, 18 legbyes). In reply KB got off to a good start with runs from Australien Jabob Adams. Then KB stopped as such, losing 4 very quick wickets until John Moller and Rizwan Tabussum came together and made the required 48 runs off just 6 overs. The Sunday also had a 1 division game where AB are making thier mark after a few years in the 2. division. AB beat Svanholm seconds after they made their opening runs in just 35 overs.
