On Saturday the 3rd of June Danish fans have the possibilty to witness the country's first day/night match of 50 overs to be played at Koge.
The match in question is between the national side and a DC Select XI comprising of professionals playing in Denmark plus the upcoming talents. It will be a 50 overs match starting at 17.00 with some Kanga matches taking place during the break. The match is part of Koge CC 50 years jubilee arrangement with a massive youth tournament being played on the Sunday and ends with the Danish Cup Final on Whitsun Monday the 5th of June.
Koge have done a lot of hard work to get this signigficant arrangement on it's feet and we hope many fans make their way to Koge to see the cricket and perhaps see the Whitsun sun dance afterwards.
National coach Peter Palle Klokker and assistent Peer Jensen have chosen the following teams, although confirmation is not yet in place.:
DENMARK XI:
Carsten Pedersen Skanderborg (cpt.),
Baljit Singh KB ( keeper),
Gerrit Muller Husum,
Anders Rasmussen Glostrup,

Mads Schmidt hae before been in the limelight for top cricket and is given a new chance. Peter Thorup is Aalborg's inform bowler already in the wickets this season and Claus Hansen is an unothodox all-rounder being given a chance on a higher level.
The match will be played using the Supersub rule and hopefully it will be televised by a local satelite company for later transmission of the highlights.
