In the Elitedivision the weather curtailed Glostrup's hopes of two victories in the weekend as Skanderborg's ground was deemed unfit to play after Saturday's rain. The match will be resheduled. Svanholm who also were in Jutland, did mange to play at Husum. Yet again Svanholm's batting lineup failed and it was left to Max Overgaard, playing his first match after injury, to hold the batting together with 32 not out as Svanholm ended on 141 for 8. Husum who had to leave Gerrit Muller out due to severe pains in his arm, had no real problem in scoring the runs thansk to Denmark's best all-rounder Lars Hedegaard with 47* and Mark Brodersen med 46. Husum and Glostrup are now in front of the table both unbeaten.

In the first division AB continued their winning streak by beating last year's relegated side from Ishoj. Ishoj are suffering from loss of players after relegation while AB have had a large influx. AB's best all rounder Thomas Louie was behind todays victory.

Herning continued their visit in Copenhagen in winning a bizarre match agains KB seconds. Herning batting first could only muster 98 runs. KB how ever couldn't do any better and were out for 51. The official explanation to Hernings poor showing was the fact that KB's artificial pitch was damp and that made the ball cut far more than usual. The unoffical explanation from a untrustworthy source is that Herning were unable to concentrate on watching the Eurovision Song Contest without consuming a load of liquid wares to forget the Finnish winning deamons.

Next Thursday is semi-final day in the Danish Cup. Aalborg will be playing at home to Esbjerg while Glostrup host Svanholm. However the long term weather forecast for the coming week is not very good.
