Denmark was hit by persistent rain during the morning which meant the matches in the Copenhagen area were reduced in overs. However it was a close call as KB's ground can never take much water and therefore was unfit but it was possbile to move the game to Ishoj's ground which was available. Norrebro play on a ground also used for football and the bad weather made it impossible to play there so the only possibility left was using Svanholm's second pitch which is meant for yhouth games.

The last match played at Husum was mostly unaffected by the weather although reports indicate that the match between Husum and Skanderborg wasn't played under the best of spirits due to injustice felt by Skanderborg. Skanderborg batted first and were pinned down by accurate bowling from Husum and the outfield was not that wet from the weather. Skanderborg could only muster 124 and Morten Hedegaard had to face the embarassment to be bowled by his brother Lars for a second ball duck! Skanderborgs total proved not to be an obstacle for Husum thanks to Hauke Müller and Lars Hedegaard.

Esbjerg's captain Peer Jensen was yesterday in serious trouble according to our repports but that turned out to be an exaggeration and caused unnecessary worries for his family. Peer was ready again today to play but he could not prevent Esbjerg losing to KB in a 30 overs match.

The two bottom sides without a win to date Norrebro and Aalborg fought it out on Svanholm's small ground in a 34 overs clash. Norrebro ran up 194 runs for their 34 overs which is not a frightening toatl on that small ground but Aalborg's batting failed again besides David Nankervis and he couldn't do it on his own. He played without a helmet on was promtly hit on the ear by Norrebro's tall bowler Khuram Ali on the artifical pitch. David played on until he was out for 47 and then was ferried to the local hospital to be stiiched up. Aalborg finished up all out for 123 and are now bottom without a win.

In the first division Albertslund continue their poor form in losing to Svanholm's seconds. Yet again they collapsed from a good chasing position to losing the match despite the fact their best batsman was kept further down the order.
