Saturday saw the two unbeaten sides in the Elitedivision Glostrup and Husum clash in Copenhagen but it turned out to be a one sided affair. Husum, even with Lars Hedegaard, were no match for Glostrup, who now are odds on favourites to take the title before the season ends. The Husum batsmen could not score any runs against the tough bowling attack of Glostrup led by Denmark's opening bowlers Henrik Hansen and David Borchersen. And on top of that Glostrup have in Niel Schlittler an Australian proffesional who scores runs . Glostrup only needed 25 overs to pass Husum's 133.

At Svanholm Park the two finalists from last year's Championship playoff met again but the result this time round was utterly different. Skanderborg are not the same side as last year, having lost 5 top class players including Lars Hedegaard who went to Husum. And today Skanderborg were without his brother Morten which meant Skanderborg's bowling attack had only one threat, namely Thomas Nielsen. Svanholm could then endulge themselves in scoring runs and this they did putting 301 for 6 on the board. Mickey Lund was back after his hamstring problem and put 86 to his name after a lucky escape when the umpire called a late no ball. Thomas Hansen showed that he is an all rounder by hitting 71 supported by the experienced Soren Vestergaard with 50. With Bobby Chawla suddenly on crutches it was left to Glen Larsen to bowl spin and this he did with success as he took 5 wickets as Skanderborg collapsed with only 115 on the board.

In the first division AB contined their winning streak by beating Albertslund and now must be favourites for promotion while Albertslund having being in the top three the last few years, are having problems with their new role of a bottom side. At the bottom is also KB seconds who again lost, this time to Koge.
