On Sunday a small gathering of clubs were present at the extra AGM called by the board, as the ordinary AGM in April was not legal due to the lack of audited accounts. The accounts now ready, the new AGM went throught the motions where the the focus was on the elections for Vice Chairman and Financial Officier, both being contested for the first time in years.

Danish Cricket showed a much larger deficit than expected at 450.000 DKR. The outgoing financial officer Ole Schaumann explained that the extra spending was due to unforseen expenses at the ICC Trophy in Ireland and the start of the Plan 2010 which was presented in December last year. Dansih Cricket are also expecting a deficit at the end of 2006. The accounts were, after a very short debate, approved by the assembly.

Chairman Claus Hansen openly said that this was his last year as chairman of Danish Cricket and that a new chairman was to be found by April next year. He apologized for the disorder surrounding the running of finances and the lack of service. This is being delt with as interviews for the employment for a new office manager are to be held in the coming week.

Jorgen Jonsson, a long serving member of the board, Vice Chairman Stig Hammerhoj and Financial Officer Ole Schaumann have all left the board and Claus Hansens thanked them for their hard work. Thomas Kentorp was elected as the new Vice Chiarman while Ole Mortensen joins the board to take charge of the implementation of Plan 2010. Keld Lyngso was elected as the new Financial Officer.

The coming visit by Kenya A was confimed as the visa problem has been solved by Jorgen Jonsson. Kenya will be playing matches against Esbjerg, Herning and Skanderborg before taking on the Under 23 side plus two matches against Denmark.

Finally Peter Mortensen was presented with the F.I.B. prize of 1.000 DKR for his work in founding Svendborg Cricket Club and his long term work with youth teams.
