What is your ultimate cricketing aspiration?
To play test cricket and win a World Cup.

What is your most memorable cricketing moment?
Winning in Namibia vs Kenya and Playing first class cricket for Kent. Any win for Ireland.

What was your worst cricketing moment?
Trying to reverse sweep Shane Warne on nought! Caught at point!

What is your funniest cricketing moment?
Any time playing with Conor Armstrong and the North County boys. Also the banter on the field with Murf and the Railway boys.

Who is your best friend in Irish Cricket and why?
Roger Whelan - we have played a lot of cricket together and went to school together, he is an excellent bowler who deserves his chance soon for Ireland.

Irish Cricket

Who is your favourite Irish cricketer (past and present), and why?
My dad for churning out so many runs. Derek Vincent - always enjoyed watching him bat when I was a kid.

Which is your favourite Irish cricket ground, and why?
Clontarf for the setting but The Hills for the pitch.

Who is the best young Irish cricketer you have seen in recent times?
Shane Getgate seems very talented. Also the Pembroke pairing of Balbernie and MacDonnell seem excellent.

What do you think of overseas professionals in Irish club cricket?
Excellent. I have benefited in recent times from having a pro available to chat to and learn from.

Do you think bowlers should be restricted in domestic cricket?
Same rules should apply as Irish games.

What are your main complaints about Irish cricket?
The poor wickets!

How would you set about improving the standard of Irish cricket?
We need to try and fill the gap between playing for your club and playing for Ireland. There is a big step to climb to go straight from club cricket to international level. We should try and make the Inter Pro's work, but I don't know how that can be achieved.

How would you set about making Irish cricket more popular?
Advertising the game in local areas more - get businesses involved.

Australia - played 4 years there and enjoy the way they play the game.

Oz , South Africa , Sri Lanka , Namibia.

Which was your favourite, and why?
Australia - excellent conditions and really good cricket.

Was Steve Waugh because he was so hard - Adam Gilchrist because of his attacking style.

Who is your favourite English cricketer, and why?
Mark Ramprakash - he has scored so many runs against me over the last 3 years and I think his technique is brilliant.
