Four Nakuru schools chosen by the RVCA to be the vanguard of the spread of cricket in the region meet tomorrow at the Nakuru Athletics Club to test their mettle against each other. By sheer weight of numbers, Melvins have to be favourite to put at least one team into the final as they have three in the competition. Greensteds will no doubt provide stiff competition if their history is anything to go by. While only a very limited version of cricket, this tournament will give an indication as to how the schools are taking to the game and what needs to be done from here. Credit to the RVCA for organising this event and all the best to the youngsters involved.
