Chandrakant Ramani, a well-known and respected personality among the Kenyan cricket fraternity was back for a brief visit to Nairobi over the weekend. A longtime supporter of cricket in the country, Ramani's involvement with Kenyan cricket started during his time in Kenya working with Air India and Gulf Air. Though now living im Mumbai, India, Ramani still follows Kenyan cricket closely and said he was pleased to see Kenya's strong performance against Bermuda. Back in Kenya after an abscence of two years, he had the opportunity to catch up with some local cricket personalities including umpise Subhash Modi. Ramani wishes Kenya all the best in the World Cup next year in West Indies.
