Subhash Modi has also been appointed to officiate the ICC Intercontinental Cup Match between Holland and Canada at Sinoville. Modi, who works with Ogilvy & Mather(EA) Limited, is on the ICC Emirates Panel of International Associate Affiliate Umpires. He has already umpired several matches this year including in June the ODI  between Pakistan and Scotland with Australia's Darrell Hair at Edinburgh and more recently he officiated during the Kenya-Bangladesh ODI series in Nairobi with India's Hariharan .

Modi is well known in Kenyan cricketing  circles for his love of the game and his impartiality. The latter best illustrated in Kenya's recent series against Bangladesh when he gave his son Hitesh out LBW! It is good to see that as Kenyan cricket gets itself back on track, the country's top umpire is also getting the recognition he deserves.
