Cricket Kenya and Nimbus Sport announced today a long-term partnership for management of commercial rights of Cricket Kenya. The six –year agreement includes all international and domestic cricket events organized by Cricket Kenya. Nimbus Sport will exclusively market all media and sponsorship rights and will also manage Television production for all the events in the term.
The Kenyan cricket team is the top ranked team among the ICC associate members and is respected for its potential. The team demonstrated its giant killing abilities by their remarkable run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2003 when they reached the semi-finals of the event against all odds and expectations.
Cricket Kenya is working towards repeating the feat and taking its rightful place among the leading cricket teams of the world. The team is currently on a rebuilding phase and has placed high emphasis on infusion of youth and development of the sport in the country. Nimbus Sport, the leading sports marketing agency in Cricket, is proud to partner with Cricket Kenya in this effort and would be working with Cricket Kenya to harness the true commercial potential of Kenyan cricket.
