Today was semi-final day in the Danish Cup where Husum took on Herning and Glostrup and Svanholm met again. Both semi-finals ended up being a disappointment and finishing early.
Husum only managed to make 128 for seven in their 40 overs while Herning needed 30 overs to surpass this losing only 4 wickets. The only good thing for Husum was that it was their younger players that made a name for themselves. Finn Kleissl took 3 wickets.

Svanholm knew beforehand they didn't stand much of a chance against Glostrup fielding a team without six first team players who were either injured or on holiday. Australian Shaun Gannon was the last victim spraining his ankle just going up the stairs! Svanholm were bowled out for 119 while Glostrup only needed 18 overs and one wicket to win.
The final will be played on 11th of August in Herning.
