Cricket Kenya have confirmed the schedule of the 20-20 warm up tournament in Nairobi with Kenya playing Bangladesh first up on Saturday 1st September. Sunday 2nd September sees Kenya with the relatively easy match against neighbours, Uganda before they finish the tournament against Pakistan on Tuesday the 4th.

Ticket prices for the tournament have also been released with individual day passes to the stands costing ksh200/- or ksh100/- for the 'Russian stand'.
Children under 16 get in free.

Considering that three of the teams will shortly be taking part in the World Cup, these are very reasonable prices indeed and should generate good crowds, especially for the weekend matches.

Hospitality boxes are also available and can be hired as follows:
20 seater @ Ksh. 15,000 per day and Ksh. 30,000.00 for all 3 days
25 Seater @ Ksh. 18,500.00 per day and Ksh. 37,000.00 for all 3 days
40 Seater @ Ksh. 28,000.00 per day and Ksh. 56,000.00 for all 3 days

Kenya, Pakistan and Bangladesh then head to South Africa to participate in the inaugural Twenty-20 World Cup. Kenya are pooled with Sri Lanka and New Zealand and will have to cause a major upset if they are to progress to the second round, though with all teams relatively new to this format, they are perhaps at less of a disadvantage than in longer forms of the game. This weekend's tournament will go a long way towards giving an indication of what Kenyan fans can expect come the second week of September and the World Cup proper.
