After an absence of four months due to circumstances beyond Cricket Scotland's control, the Scottish Cricketer is once again available for download from this website.

The October edition focuses on reaction to On the Front Foot, the new four-year strategic plan for the sport, which was published a couple of weeks ago.

It takes a reflective look back at the 2007 season - and reveals a new monthly record of 'hits' on the Cricket Scotland website.

And it looks forward to the work of the new Regional Academies, as well as forthcoming major fixtures over the next year.
