SCOTLAND's U19s last night claimed revenge on Durham Academy with a thrilling last-over win at Bothwell Castle Policies.
The youngsters, who went into this clash on the back of a heavy defeat on Wednesday, looked as if they would be up against it again when the county prospects posted 236-5.
But openers Matthew Parker and Ryan Flannigan set the foundation for a perfect run chase with 55 apiece.
Watsonians starlet Euan Chalmers then top-scored with 61 at a run-a-ball as the Scots completed victory with five balls to spare.
Earlier Scott Redhead was again the pick of the home bowlers with 2-32 while Ben Stokes was the Academy star with a scintillating 103.
SCORE: Durham Academy 236-5 (B Stokes 103, R Coughtrie 39, B Wood 33) lost to Scotland U19 238-7 (E Chalmers 61, M Parker 55, R Flannigan 55; R Hopwood 4-49) by three wickets.
Scotland Under 19's next match is against Lloyds TSB Scotland Premier League champions Greenock at Glenpark this Sunday.
