Donemana made a surprise exit from the competition after a 28 run  defeat away at Bangor. Needing 28 from the last 3 overs, they failed to score another run, as Sri Lankan Yasas Tillakaratne took a hat-trick to spin them out of the cup. Azhar Shafiq (69) looked to have set up the win, but they lost their last 6 wickets for just 12 runs collapsing from 153-4 to 165 all out, in pursuit of a Bangor total of 193.

Only Kashif Aphale (40) batted with any degree of composure, as Derriaghy scored just 107. Wajihuddin made his trip from England worthwhile by taking 3-13. In spite losing 3 quick wickets, Garth Watson (57*), hit 10 fours and two sixes to lead them to a 7 wicket win.

Brigade  won easily on their travels at a weakened Lisburn. Iftikhar Hussain (96) just missed out on a deserved hundred, and there were typically hard hit half centuries from Stephen Smyth (66) and Wajahatullah Wasti (51*). The Beechgrove outfit finishing on 237 for 5. That was 125 too many for the home side, who crawled to 112 for 9 in their 40 overs.
