Based on ground report forms received from the umpires up until the end of May the following tables have been put together.
We have received a vast numbers of reports, not all the clubs have the same number of report forms so the tables may not be as accurate as one would like, but the pattern is very obvious.
The tables will we hope compliment the hard work done by clubs and encourage every club to provide better facilities for everyone involved in our game.
We need to thank the umpires for their time in filling in the reports and these tables will encourage them to continue to do so.
Following many visits to grounds the overall conditions of pitches and outfields are much improved. A lot of hard work has gone into the early season and with good cricket weather with us we ask clubs to keep up the good work.
The application of water to pitches is much needed in this period of the season and the repairs to used pitches keeps the square in good condition.
Let us keep improving the standards of all aspects of our club and enjoy the rest of the season. Remember the Grounds Committee are only a phone call away for advice.
