Quarter Finals of the Intermediate Cup

Templepatrick vs Armagh

A home draw will be a big help to Div 2:3 Templepatrick against 2:2 Armagh. Armagh, boosted by the ageless Reggie Stinson and with a very settled line up should still prove too much for the hosts.  Templepatrick will be boosted by a very big win against Cregagh in the second round and will be hoping for a trip to the Semis.

My prediction - Armagh in a close one.

Laurelvale  vs CSNI

Laurelvale have a habit of being 'up for the cup' and a home draw will be a help but the fancied side must be CSNI, if only on league form.

My prediction - CSNI

Saintfield  vs Muckamore

Saintfield in very good form in Div 2:3, undefeated and with McCaughtry recently in the runs should fancy this. Their bowling has been very destructive on their opposition but Div 2:2 Muckamore will have something to say. A recent win over CSNI showed how destructive their batting line up can be. A squeaker on the cards.

My prediction  -  Muckamore

Cooke Collegians  vs Larne

A recent comfortable league win by Larne over CCCC may be a pointer to the final result here, but the
mercurial Cooke Collegians line up isn't very predictable and as a result, the bookies would be hard placed to set odds here. A game that really could go either way. Home advantage to prevail.

My prediction  - CC CC by a narrow margin
