Freddie Gilroy, Stephen Cruise and Freddie Gilroy (Senior)Ulster Bank’s Regiuonal Manager Stephen Cruise presented the latest series of Ulster Bank Awards.

The awards go to players who score a century, take at least six wickets or perform a hat trick in the four sections of the Ulster Bank NCU Senior League.

Ballymena cricketer James Kennedy received a prestigious Ulster Bank award for scoring a century in the NCU Senior League game against Woodvale in late June. when his undefeated 112 helped secure victory. And he also came away with an award for brother David whose 103 not out in mid-July was mainly responsible for the points against Saintfield.

Carrickfergus cricketers Andrew Cowden  and Barry Cooper both achieved Ulster Bank League awards after one of the biggest opening partnerships in the history of the club.  They put on 259 with Cowden 151 not out and Cooper 106 not out as Carrick defeated Bangor by 31 runs in mid June. 

No less than three players received awards for taking hat tricks  - Billy Dale (Instonians) v CIYMS, Niranjan Godbole (Lurgan) v Holywood and Rowan Shah (Dunmurry) v Dungannon.
