The following tables are accurate to BEFORE Waringstown v CIYMS on Friday 19th September.

Following a tie on points, net run rate shall decide issues of relegation in both sections.

Clubs are advised that the two factors which determine net run rate are: (a) the margin of victory in runs when a side successfully defends a target and (b) the number of overs to spare when a side successfully chases a target.

As one would expect, the greater the margin of victory/defeat, the greater the change in net run rate, but the most by which any one match is likely to change a team’s net run rate is – in all likelihood - around 0.25 either way.

Clubs should note that matches in which no result is achieved do NOT count towards net run rate.

However, such information will likely be computable to any reliable degree of accuracy only AFTER rival clubs have completed their playing schedules.
