The NCU Appeals Committee considered an appeal by Civil Service North at a meeting on 8 October 2008.
The Competitions Directorate had deducted 1 point from CSN following a report by the two umpires for slow play in their match against North Down on Sunday 21 September. 

The Appeals Committee heard evidence from the two umpires and submissions from representatives of Civil Service North. 

After consideration the Committee rejected the CSN appeal.
