Donemana accounted for Bready in a fairly one-sided Midweek Cup final at the Magheramason venue on Friday evening, a solid all-round performance from Jimmy Britton's side allowing them to coast home unchallenged at a cold top pitch.

Donemana batted first and Ritchie McBrine was in good form as he clubbed 3 sixes and 7 fours in making a man-of-the match winning 79, with good support coming from Ricky Lee Dougherty with an unbeaten 43.

Needing more than 8 an over, Bready's reply was stifled early on after they lost Robert Spence in the first over and Donemana took control.

Robert Huey returned figures of 2 for 8 from 4 overs and Dean Mehaffey 2 for 12 with Chris Neely taking 3 for 15 later on as Bready struggled to stay in touch.

In the end, despite a fighting 30 from Clyde McCorkell the game was over some way before Bready's last wicket fell on 94.

Donemana 162 for 4, 20 overs (Ritchie McBrine 79, Ricky Lee Dougherty 43*, J Long 2-28) beat Bready 94 all out, 19.4 overs (C McCorkell 30, R Huey 2-8, D Mehaffey 2-12, C Neely 3-15) by 68 runs.
