The Executive Committee of the North West Cricket Union met on Thursday evening to discuss, among other things, the league format for Divisions 1 and 2 for the 2010 season following the recent withdrawal of Killymallaght Cricket Club from the senior ranks.

Following negotiations among delegates, and having given due consideration to both Coleraine and Ardmore for the Division One spot, the Executive agreed that the Bannsiders would be allocated the place. 

Their place in Division 2 will now fall to Ballyspallen who have managed to re-group in their two seasons out of senior cricket.
