Nepal Under-21s have lost their third consecutive match in the South Asian Games, going down to Pakistan by 91 runs.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored quickly throughout their innings, skipper Umar Amin leading the way with 53 from 32 balls as they scored 173-2 from their 20 overs.
Nepal made little effort to chase down that total, instead opting to bat out their overs. They lost eight wickets in the process, scoring 82 runs to lose by 91 runs.
Nepal have two days off now before they hope to pick up their first win against the Maldives on Saturday in the match that, if all goes according to current form, will decide which team will play off for the bronze medal.
In tomorrow's matches, the Maldives will play hosts Bangladesh, whilst Pakistan will play Sri Lanka.
