Sky Sports have declined their option to broadcast Scotland's clash with England on June 19 at The Grange.

The snub is yet another blow for beleaguered Scottish cricket officials, on the back of yet another disastrous attempt at qualification for a world tournament ended in tatters.

There may be a glimmer of hope on the horizon however, as BBC Scotland are examining the feasibility of fitting the game into their schedules.

Chief Executive Roddy Smith said: "I hope the BBC will show it as we want as many people as possible to see it."
