Joyce scores another hundred for Sussex
Ed Joyce scored his 27th first class hundred yesterday, making an unbeaten 108 against Worcestershire at Hove.
The hundred wasn't enough to force a win as the weather and the Worcestshire batsmen combined to ensure the game finished drawn.
This was the second hundred in the space of six days for Joyce, who scored 102 as Sussex beat The Unicorns in the CB40 last Sunday.
George Dockrell wasn't able to bowl Somerset to victory in their clash with Surrey at The Oval. The left arm spinner claimed 4 for 89 in the second innings as Surrey finished on 239-7 chasing a victory target of 304.
William Porterfield made 34 as Warwickshire got the better of a drawn game with Lancashire, while Niall O'Brien scored one and took two catches as Northants drew against his former county, Kent.
Ben Ackland and Graeme McCarter are currently in opposition as Cambridge MCCU face Gloucestershire in a 3 day game. Ackland made 29 while McCarter took 2 catches and 1 for 33.
That game finishes today and is interestingly poised.
