Coleraine joined Donemana at the top of the Long's SuperValu Division 1 table on Sunday evening after a thoroughly convincing 8-wicket win at home to Bonds Glen.
Hot on the heels of their mauling of Killyclooney in the cup a day earlier, Ian McGregor's men maintained their momentum despite a positive start from the visitors' openers Keith Hamilton and Gihan Dilruk. The Sri Lankan was first to go having made 21 but Hamilton (34) and Roy Robinson (33) took the score to 70 before both were undone by Scott Campbell.
Cameos from Richard Rodgers (22), Gary Hamilton (17) and Johnny Haslett (14) helped the bottom club to 169 all out as Campbell (4-24), Gareth Burns (3-23) and Chinthaka Jayasinghe (3-25) mopped up.
The result was never in doubt once in-form pairing Scott Campbell (47) and Ian McGregor (42) had put on 77 for the first wicket and when they went, Jayasinghe (44*) and Craig Averill (27*) completed the rout to send the Bannsiders to the top of the pile.
Limavady made it a good weekend for themselves with a 5-wicket win over Creevedonnell at the Hunter Grounds. Simon Dunn with 4 for 22 and Des Curry (3 for 39) saw to it that Stephen Scroggie's side rarely got far away and Chris Moore continued his comeback by sending down 10 very useful overs to finish with 2 for 34.
At 98 for 9 it was touch and go whether the visitors could make it to three figures but a last wicket stand between Mark Neely (39) and Ciaran McDermott (14*) at least provided some respite.
The hosts then lost openers Tom Riddles and Dean Curry with just 10 on the board before the McDaid boys Adam (47) and Ricky (45) teed up a comfortable victory.
