Ulster Bank Schools Cup holders RBAI have been knocked out in the quarter finals of this year's competition. They were narrowly beaten by two wickets by Coleraine Inst who will now play Down High School for a place in the final. The game had been restricted to 25 overs and Coleraine got home with just two balls to spare.

The other semi-final will be between Grosvenor Grammar School and Limavady Grammar School who defeated Foyle College and Carrickfergus Grammar School respectively.

RBAI 100-6 (J McClure 27 not out, B Wylie 25, S Campbell 2-16); Coleraine AI 101-8 (P Douglas 33, B Wylie 3-17, R Hughes 2-17). Coleraine AI won by 2 wickets
