Persistent drizzle and a wet outfield meant no play was possible on day one of Ireland v Afghanistan clash.
Umpires Richard Smith, Shaun George and Charlie McElwee called off proceedings at 3:20pm once it became clear that the ground conditions wouldn't allow any play despite the best efforts of the ground staff.
It's been a frustrating tour for Afghanistan who have only managed to get one day of cricket in Ireland thus far.
It could get even more frustrating for the Afghans as the forecast is for further rain during the week.
Play will hopefully get under way 30 minutes earlier tomorrow at 10:30am.
