Rain curtails senior action at Rectory and Eglinton

Cricket, and the weather intervened to curtail both scheduled NW games last night (TUE).
In the T20 clash at The Rectory Glendermott had scored 32 for 0 after 3.4 overs against Strabane when play was halted. Simon Killen had made 18 and Roy Silva 14 - the teams will get their final chance to finish the game this evening at 6:30pm.
In Senior Two Eglinton had scored 72 without loss in 12 overs against Drummond when play was stopped - Andy Christie on 38 not out and Chris Pierce 29 not out - they too will try again this evening.
Meanwhile the NW is expected to confirm that the Northern Bank Senior Cup final will revert to its original date of 27 and 28 July to avoid a possible fixture clash with the semi-final of the Irish Senior Cup in which Donemana are involved - Brigade await the winners of the Bready v Donemana semi-final which takes place this Saturday.
Ireland are in action this evening when they host Bangaldesh in the first of their three scheduled Twenty20 clashes - action at Stormont gets under way at 5pm.
