Saltires v Somerset Veune Switch

Cricket Scotland has announced that the final CB40 fixture of the 2012 season against Somerset (19 August) has been rearranged and will now be held at Uddingston.

Due to the change in venue, the match will now have a start time of 11am to ensure Somerset are able to return home later that evening.

Despite the Grange ground recovering from the torrential rainfall it has encountered over the past few months, the ground authorities has agreed that the pitch will not be sufficiently ready for a professional List A fixture, although club cricket is set to return to the Grange in the next few weeks. The Saltires look forward to returning to the Grange for fixtures in 2013.

With the Saltires v Durham fixture (5 August) already switched to Uddingston, which will remain a 1:45pm start, the club will have an opportunity to host their fourth CB40 fixture of the season.

Tickets for both fixtures will be available to purchase on the gate on the day of the matches.
