Ireland's Under 19 side lost their second warm up game, this time against a very strong Northern Territory senior XI in Darwin.
Batting first Ireland scored 226 for 8 in their 50 overs, with Muckamore's Jason van der Merwe top scoring with a well manufactured 72. Donemana opener Ryan Hunter's good form continued as he scored 45, while Gloucestershire all-rounder Graeme McCarter impressed with 40.
In reply Ireland used 9 bowlers in an attempt to give everyone a work-out ahead of the official warm-up games against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Despite a hard fought effort by everyone in the field, Northern Territory passed their target with two wickets and 9 balls to spare.
