The Scottish Saltires take on Somerset at Uddingston CC in their final match of the 2012 Clydesdale Bank 40 competition this Sunday (19 August).
This will be the last Saltires home fixture for the season and they will look to end on a high before they undertake their winter program.
There is one change to the squad that was due to face Durham in their last fixture, with Josh Davey ineligible after featuring for Middlesex. He will be replaced by Calvin Burnett.
Scotland captain Gordon Drummond said, “The guys are hoping to put in a good performance for our supporters to say thanks for their support this season. It’s been a difficult campaign with quite a few of our home matches cancelled due to the weather, but we’re determined to finish with a win.”
Bothwell Castle will host the final CB40 encounter of the competition and will be hoping for some good weather after the Scottish summer has meant only one of the schedule four fixtures to be held at Uddingston this season has managed to be completed.
The match will be an 11am start and tickets will be available at the gate.
