Ireland stand-in captain Kevin O'Brien has been re-signed by Somerset for the finals day of the Friends Life T20 which takes place this coming Saturday at Cardiff.

Somerset take on Hampshire in the second semi-final and will play the winners of the earlier Sussex v Yorkshire clash.

Both finalists will qualify for the Champions League.

O'Brien featured as Somerset qualified for the finals before returning to play for Ireland.

He is the current holder of the Walter Lawrence trophy for the fastest hundred in English cricket and of course the quickest hundred in World Cup history.
