The first scheduled Twenty20 game between Ireland and South Africa A due to take place this afternoon at Oak Hill has been cancelled following torrential overnight rain.

Following a ground inspection this morning, officials concluded there was no possibility of play due to the ground conditions.

The teams are due to play three further Twenty20 games in the series, with the next game scheduled for Oak Hill on Wednesday (4pm), followed by the first games at the new Malahide development on Friday (4pm) and Sunday (2pm).
