 Cricket volunteer helpers wanted
As recreational and community clubs we are reliant on volunteers to assist with the organisation and running of the game.
Umpires, scorers and coaches are the more traditional roles people associate with being involved and these are important in the playing the game area.
There are courses available which will give sufficient knowledge to any individual who wishes to help out and get involved in junior and senior cricket.
For those who do not feel they can contribute in those areas, the organisation and running of clubs still offers lots of opportunities. Website design, groundsman, secretary, treasurer, child welfare officer, junior coordinator, maintenance, tea person, cake baker, fundraiser to name are a few roles which are essential to putting players on the pitch.
If you feel you can assist in any of these areas and would like information on how you can get involved please email me on IOMcricket@hotmail.com for information on course and clubs which you can help.
